A technical and artistic take on the Ghostbusters headquarters! I created this drawing of the main elevation of the building featured in one of my favorite eighties movies: the office of Ghostbusters Venkman, Ray, Egon, and Winston (and Janine!). I made sure to include the all-important basement level in this drawing, because it houses the famous ectoplasma containment unit. I had a great time watching the movie to research the best quotes to include in my annotation of the building. The actual building where the movie was filmed is the Hook & Ladder No. 8 of New York City, and it recently went through a wonderful restoration.

My original notation and descriptions reflect how an architect may technically describe the building for renovation / construction. The white ink on blue paper is reminiscent of the traditional vintage blueprint style. This sophisticated drawing will age with your home, while you stay true to your passion for this eighties movie. Or, the 'Ghostbusters' fan in your life may appreciate this unique and sophisticated piece of art! I hope this drawing brings you as much joy as watching the movie brings me.
